VIN Tags

Decorated Product offers both standard and custom Vehicle Identification Number Tags (VIN Tags) for use by manufacturers for marking vehicles, trailers, motorcycles, trucks and busses with the identification and safety information required by US Federal Standards.

Decorated Products is a recognized supplier of VIN Tags to Federal specifications.

Our VIN Tags are available in multiple materials:

Aluminum or Stainless Steel

- Plates can be manufactured in multiple material thickness and prepared for mounting with either adhesive backing or mounting holes for riveting
- Users of metal plates will need stamping or letter press tooling to add variable data to the tags before applying to the vehicle being marked.

Matte Aluminum Foil (pictured above)

- Our .002 inch aluminum material is backed with a permanent adhesive and satisfies most vehicle marking applications.
- Variable information is added to these tags simply by using a standard typewriter. The typewriter makes indentations in the material and results in a clear and permanent marking as required.

Restoring a classic?? Please note:
Our VIN Tags are produced for manufacturers and custom shops that are producing or completing original equipment. If you have lost or destroyed a single VIN Tag and need a replacement you should contact your local RMV for direction. We are not equipped or authorized to manufacture "one-off" replacement tags.
