| • Parker Hannifin – Decreased Costs, Increased Quality Parker Hannifin’s commitment to vendor development has resulted in our single vendor status with many of their divisions. This status and our agreement with Parker Hannifin include a commitment to continuous improvement. Cost reductions have also resulted from forecasting and managing their inventory. In addition, we are able to maintain safety stock because of our parts management. We have regularly reduced prices to Parker Hannifin while improving the quality and reliability of our products. View Samples • Black & Decker – Precision and Reliability Black & Decker recognized that they were missing the high end of the consumer woodworking market, and decided to reinvent their DeWalt product line. Black & Decker contacted Decorated Products, because of our reputation in precision stainless steel parts, during the design phase of their new line. We worked with their design team to specify the various nameplates and make prototype samples for design and marketing evaluation. The copy-to-edge tolerances on the miter saw detent plates are ±.006”, which required us to modify our printing presses with special feeding beds to ensure this critical requirement. For 10 years, Decorated Products has delivered Black & Decker’s miter saw detent plates on time – every week – with zero rejections. In the early 1980’s they selected Decorated Products to be their single vendor for nameplates, decals, and roll labels because of our past experience with them, and our vast capabilities. Our partnership extends far past the production of our products. We provide 24/7 support for Cummins’ 24 plants worldwide. Our commitment to continuous improvement has meant cooperative Kaizen projects, EDI linkage, documents management and technical engineering support.
